Lydia DeNasha is an enrolled member of the Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Ojibwe. She has been with Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University since August 2015, serving in a variety of roles including Bookstore Manager, Bursar, Staff Accountant, Business Office Consultant, and currently Chief Financial Officer. Lydia earned her associate, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees from LCOOU, completing her Master of Science in Management in December 2023.

I chose Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University because of the profound impact it has had on my life, both personally and academically. I am committed to giving back to the community and contributing to an institution that continues to make meaningful advancements for our people. LCOOU provides an exceptional environment for individuals to grow, develop, and discover their career paths.

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being creative by doing beadwork and other art related activities. I also have a passion for dance and used to teach hip hop many years ago. Professionally, I really enjoy working with numbers!
