  • Greetings! I grew up in Neenah, Wisconsin but have called the Northwoods home for about 3 years.

Previously, I studied Biology and Biochemistry at UW - Stevens Point where I graduated in December of 2014. During my time at UWSP I had an internship at the University of Montana - Missoula, and I enjoyed it so much that I enrolled in graduate school there in 2015 to pursue a Masters of Science in Environmental Studies.

In graduate school, I had the opportunity to support myself via teaching assistantships, and found that I had a passion for education. I love the process of sharing and discussing ideas with students and colleagues. I carried this interest with me into a teaching position at a hands-on, project-based learning school in Hayward from 2020-2022, followed by the Biology faculty position here at LCOOU.
