Work Based Learning

Work Based Learning is a program dedicated to promoting employability and professional development. 

Work Based Learning provides the following services to Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College Students;

  • Paid Internships 

  • Transportation assistance 

  • Professional Attire 

  • Professional development 

  • Transfer Assistance 

  • Career Skills 

Work Based Learning also hosts several events including;

  • Career Fairs

  • Internship Fairs

  • College Fairs

  • Volunteer Fairs

  • FAFSA Events

  • Career Skills Events

  • Community Outreach Events

Work Based Learning administered 31 internships during the 2018 – 2019 academic year. Among all internship programs student interns had an 84% retention rate. Learn more about internship opportunities here.
