Transportation Alliance for New Solutions

TrANS is a new, innovative program that encourages women and minorities to seek employment in the transportation industry​.

In the 5 weeks, 160-hour TrANS industry awareness class, trainees are exposed to:

  • OSHA 30

  • CDL Prep

  • Certified Flagging

  • Blueprint Reading

  • Laser/Transit

  • Basic Life Support

  • Tool Identification


Available to all students, the deadline to apply is April 14th, 2021

Program Requirements

Must be 18 years of age, valid drivers license with good driving record, ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, physical ability to do strenuous labor in extreme weather conditions, transportation to various work sites in the northeast and central Wisconsin, a minimum of sixth-grade math and reading skills, ability to work independently and safely. MUST pass drug and alcohol tests before being accepted into the program.
