LCOOC Soaring Eagles Mascot Announced

The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College recently introduced the team mascot, Desaash, to the Soaring Eagle's team. Desaash is the vocative form of Ojibwe for Desaashi, meaning s/he soars in the wind/air without flapping wings.

With the recent college name change, update to the logo and introduction of sports to campus, the Soaring Eagle's mascot was the next step in enhancing the college’s brand.

Look for Desaash out in the community, cheering on the athletes at sporting events, and hanging out with students on campus!
