Update from LCOOC Regarding COVID-19 Pandemic

While remaining fully functional, the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College has made the decision to switch to complete remote operations until further notice. The safety of our faculty, staff, students and community remains our top priority during the pandemic. The Outreach Sites of the College will continue to remain under the direction of their respective tribal governments.

The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe Community Library will be suspending curbside service until further notice. Also, the LCOOC Sustainable Agriculture Research Station, the college farm, will remain open to essential staff only due to the busy beginning of the planting season. The farm will be closed to the public and the gate will remain closed. Community garden members will have access to their raised bed gardens through the walk-in gate.

Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College encourages everyone to take the necessary precautions to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus and wishes continued health to all throughout this difficult time.

As always, employees may be reached through email and phone. For additional information and updates, please continue to monitor the College website at www.lco.edu or contact Ariana Johnson, Director of Marketing & Communications at ajohnson@lco.edu.
