This year, we have been working tirelessly on new and exciting activities to help gather attention to our ever-growing college! College can be stressful, so we want to ensure that our classmates reach their goals with us by any means. During some of out meetings, we have begun to brainstorm different ideas that would peak students’ interests.

Some of the recent things we have hosted include: a Student De-stress Week, School Spirit Week, and fundraisers aimed at gathering startup funds for various clubs. As for the future, we are currently planning a feast set for the 14th of November. Other goals in our sights include trips to Christie Mountain and Bentleyville!

We would also like to congratulate each of our students for putting in the effort to work towards their post-high school education! Life has many obstacles and there will be numerous ups and downs. Our goal is to keep everybody aware that we’re here for you, both as your Student Senate Representatives and as fellow peers! Our meetings are always open to the public, so feel free to come discuss what’s on your mind.

We generally meet every Monday from 9:00-10:00 in room 504 of the LCO Main Campus. Zoom is available for those at outreach sites wanting to join in. Alternatively, you can address us individually or at with anything you want brought to our attention. We are the voice of the student body and hope to help you in any way possible!

We hope everybody has a great semester and year, and thank you for being a big part Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College!
