November Alumni Spotlight

We would like to take some time today to shine the alumni spotlight on Penny Bearheart.

Penny graduated from LCO St. Croix in 2011. Just like many LCO students, Penny was a single mom, working, and taking classes.

After graduating with an Associates in Liberal Arts, she transferred the following spring semester to UW Platteville and continued her studies while working in the tribal court, eventually becoming the tribal judge.

In 2016 she graduated with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. She wasn't yet done with learning and in the spring of 2017 she was accepted in the Masters program of Counseling in Addiction and Substance Abuse at Hazleton where she continues to pursue higher learning! We are proud of you Penny!
