Are you ready for the coming elections? The League of Women Voters will be conducting a voter registration drive prior to the November elections. Please follow the link for more information on how get out and vote. The league is non-partisan so it would only be information on how to register, nothing about the candidates - except on how to get information on each candidate that is running in their district. Below is the link that would give them all the information they need to register to vote in the upcoming election.

TRiO Refunded

The U.S. Department of Education announced that Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College will receive a federal Student Support Services (SSS) grant of $338,836 to help more students succeed in and graduate from college. The Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College has maintained the SSS/TRIO Program since 1993. To date, the program has served a total of 1,627 students, and of those, has helped 43% graduate per cohort. SSS helps college students who are low income, first generation, or students with disabilities. The grant provides comprehensive services that include academic tutoring, financial aid advice, career and college mentoring, help in choosing courses, and other forms of assistance. These serv

LCOOC Library is now OPEN

Starting Sept. 8th the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College will be open Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm and Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm. Entrance into the Library will be through the Cultural Resource Center after guests have been screened at the Main Entrance to the College. Curbside no-contact pick up will still be available. To place a hold on the library catalog please call 715-634-4790 ext. 122 or email Library staff will contact patrons when orders are complete.
