Community Input Survey

College Name, Mascot, Athletic Teams, Entry Sign

Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College (LCOOC) is making updates and we need your help!

Survey Dates | The survey has closed.

What are the updates?

  • College Name | As Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College begins the process to offer Bachelor Degree programs and expands our service area, we need to update our brand to be inclusive of all programming and services that we offer.

  • Athletic Programs | In an effort to better serve our students, LCOOCC is exploring adding athletic teams to our program offerings.

  • Mascot | Our goal for the mascot, in support of growth in athletic programs, is that it will embody the Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College mission, which is to provide Anishinaabe communities with post-secondary and continuing education while advancing the language, culture, and history of the Ojibwa.

  • Entry Sign | The main campus entry sign is in need of a refresh.

Participants who provide their name, email address and phone number at the end of the survey will be eligible to win a LCOOCC prize pack at the conclusion of the survey. The winner of the prize pack will be announced July 1, 2019.

Rules & Regulations

  • All entries must be received by end of day, Thursday, June 20th.

  • Participants must be willing to share their basic identifying information, like their name, email address, and phone number in order to win the prize, if their response is chosen.

At the conclusion of the survey, all entries will be collected and a college committee will review all submissions. The committee will narrow down the suggestions based on those which best embody LCOOCC's mission, and then the College’s Senior Staff and Board of Regents will make the final selection.

When will the changes be announced? Selections will be announced after the LCOOCC Senior Staff and Board of Regents make their final selection. A specific date has not been scheduled.
