Student Intern Program
The student internship program requires a completion of a minimum of 450 hours of work based learning experience. Applicants must be enrolled in a college course or program and must be able to show competencies gained in their field of study. Students are required to have a complete application, including, but not limited to, a work resume to be eligible for a student intern position. A Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College Internship Committee has established a standardized rate of pay of $8.50 per hour for all internships offered and conducted through college programs.


Assistance for Students Success
The Work Based Learning Staff works directly with local Middle and High School Staff, LCOOCC Admission's Staff, LCOOCC Instructors,and local Tribal and Non-Tribal businesses to benefit the Student and guide the student towards higher education and gainful employment. Assistance is available for School and work related supplies,clothing and transportation to/from job training for first month (cooperative effort will be made with local agencies to ensure all possible resources are investigated).
