Aquatic Invasive Species Maps

This mapping was not comprehensive.  Data collected and analyzed by LCO Conservation Department and LCOOCC Student Interns in the summer of 2002.

A complete and comprehensive survey of the Chippewa Flowage done by LCOOCC Extension Staff and LCOOCC Student Interns in the summers of 2005 & 2006.

 

A shorline and line transect survey of the Northfork of the Chief River from Callahan Lake to the Chippewa Flowage done by LCOOCC Staff and Student Interns and UW Madison Student Interns in the summer of 2006.  Map shows a possible entry point for Eurasian watermilfoil  into the Chippewa Flowage.

 

Purple Loosestrife

This is map is from a Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission 2000 Report.

 

A complete and comprehensive shoreline survey of the Chippewa Flowage done by LCOOCC Extension Staff, LCOOCC Student Interns, and local volunteers in the summer of 2005 & 2006.

Data based from 2005-06 survey done by LCOOCC.  Map showing areas where purple loosestrife flowerheads were removed.
