GENERAL STATEMENT
1.01 A proposal routing form and procedure is
vital for helping to ensure that the college only obligate itself to sponsored
programs that support its mission and that it has sufficient resources to carry
out the obligations of the project. By routing a proposal through various
steps of review, the application will be strengthened and the necessary institutional
support for its eventual success will have been garnered. Any employee of
the college writing a proposal for sponsored funding (grant/contract,
foundation, state or federal funding) must see that a completed LCOOCC
Proposal Routing form is on file, with a complete copy of the application,
in the Office of Sponsored Programs, before the application is submitted.
