Administration for Native Americans ANA is an organization under the Administration for Children and Families, which is an arm of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.  By clicking HERE, you can view archived copies of last year's RFP's within ANA that are of potential consideration for tribal colleges. 
Department of Education This site lists virtually all programs and competitions under which the Department of Ed has invited or expects to invite applications  for FY 2002 and provides actual or estimated deadline dates for the transmittal of applications under these programs. The lists are in the form of charts, organized according to the Department's principal program offices, and includes programs and competitions previously announced, as well as those expected to be announced.
Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Programs The Catalog of Federal Domestic Assistance Programs (CFDA) is a government-wide compendium of all 1,479 Federal programs, projects, services, and activities that provide assistance or benefits to the American public.  These programs provide grants, loans, loan guarantees, services, information, scholarships, training, insurance, etc., to millions of Americans every day.
Federal Register NOFA's This a government managed site that has a search engine supporting searches into the Federal Register, where federal grant competitions are first published.
Grants.Gov As the name suggests, this is a government managed site.  It is part of the federal government's e-grants initiative.  Some federal grant applications are also submitted through this site.  Please contact the OSP if you need assistance.
National Center for Education Statistics All right, this isn't a grant site, but it does provide access to a wealth of information.
National Science Foundation A site listing the most recent NSF grant releases.
National Endowment for the Humanities A listing of all open competitions and their deadlines from the NEH.
CSREES Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service of the USDA.  They fund a lot broader range of activities than you may think!

Status

NSF TCUP Application due via FastLane.  Due October 18, 2004. (Submitted.)
USDA/CSREES Three CSREES RFP's of particular interest for tribal colleges.  Deadlines in November, December (2004) and January (2005).
NOAA EPP  The NOAA Environmental Entrepreneurship Program is designed to strengthen the capacity of Minority Serving Institutions to foster student careers, entrepreneurship opportunities and advanced academic degrees in the sciences directly related to NOAA’s mission.   Application due October 29, 2004. (This program is funded annually.)
NEH RFP's The National Endowment for the Humanities released in November 2004, RFP's for a wide variety of programs for which LCOOCC would be eligible.  Click on the link to the left to see review a listing of the individual programs with direct links to their respective RFP's. Various application due dates.
NSF ATE Application due via FastLane.  Pre-application due April 26, 2005.  final Application due October 12 or 18, 2005.
