EbscoHost EBSCOHost offers a collection of specially designed, comprehensive full text databases, available online via EBSCOhost.
BadgerLink BadgerLink are accessible databases supported and funded through the Department of Public Instruction - Division for Libraries, Technology, and Community Learning.  Its goal is to provide increased access to information for Wisconsin residents in cooperation with the state's library community.
JSTOR JSTOR is a trusted archive of high-resolution, scanned images of important scholarly journals. JSTOR is not a current issues database. There is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the back issues available in JSTOR. (You have to be using a computer at LCO College's main campus for access).
The Educator's Reference Desk ... a personalized Internet-based service providing education information to teachers, librarians, counselors, administrators, parents, and others throughout the United States and the world. Also the home of the ERIC database.
First Nations Periodical Index The First Nations Periodical Index contains journals of mainly Canadian Native content.  This Index is a tool providing access to information about First Nations for students (high school or university), educators, instructors and researchers.
FirstSearch Article database search exclusively for LCO College network users. (You have to be using a computer at LCO College's main campus for access).
Journal of American Indian Education The Journal of American Indian Education is a peer reviewed scholarly journal, which publishes papers specifically related to the education of American Indians and Alaska Natives.
BioOne An innovative collaboration between scientific societies, libraries, academe and the private sector. BioOne brings to the Web a uniquely valuable aggregation of the full-texts of high-impact bioscience research journals. Most of BioOne’s titles are published by small societies and other not-for-profit organizational publishers, and, until now, have been available only in printed form. (You have to be using a computer at LCO College's main campus for access to the full text articles).
GreenFILE In keeping with our commitment to environmental consciousness, EBSCO proudly offers GreenFILE, a freely accessible research database focusing on the relationship between human beings and the environment, with well-researched but accessible information on topics ranging from global warming to recycling to alternate fuel sources and beyond. Native American Resources

Native American Sites 
Comprehensive site with web links addressing individual nations, native organizations, tribal colleges, languages, the mascot issue, native media, powwows, music, arts, storytelling, Indians and the military, native businesses. Maintained by Lisa Mitten, former librarian at Univ of Pittsburgh. 
Edward Curtis' The North American Indian
Edward Sheriff Curtis published The North American Indian between 1907 and 1930 with the intent to record traditional Indian cultures. The work comprises twenty volumes of narrative text and photogravure images. Each volume is accompanied by a portfolio of large photogravure plates.

The entire work is presented here, supported largely by funds from the Institute for Museum and Library Services.

North American Indian Biographical Database The third release of the North American Indian Biographical Database contains over 41,000 pages of text and images. Included are biographies, auto-biographies, personal narratives, speeches, diaries, letters, and oral histories. 
Native Web
NativeWeb is one of the oldest and most respected Internet sites for information about Indigenous Peoples around the world. Their  database contains thousands of resources in dozens of categories, searchable by nation, geographic locale and thematic content. NativeWeb provides an automated news digest, an announcement service, an events calendar, and a catalog of books and other media.
Indian Affairs: Laws and Treaties
An historically significant, seven volume compilation of U.S. treaties, laws and executive orders pertaining to Native American Indian tribes. Volumes I through VII are available on the web both as fully searchable digitized text and as page images. The contents may be accessed from the Table of Contents or Index of each volume or through keyword searching.
