OBJECTIVES

MEANS OF ASSESSMENT

Student will ascertain an understanding of the supervisory environment, strategies, tactics in the field of Tribal Management.

Student will

1.      utilize conflict resolution techniques.

2.      apply positive role model, leadership qualities.

3.      possess strong interpersonal skills.

4.      demonstrate decision-making skills.

5.      show an understanding of the importance of delegating responsibility.

6.      employ effective interviewing skills.

Student will demonstrate superior written and oral communication skills.

Student will

1.      show proficiency in technical writing.

2.      demonstrate ability to articulate ideas verbally.

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of tribal government, law, and policies related to Native communities, states, and the Federal government. 

1.      Students will apply knowledge learned by writing a series of essays on course topics.

·         A minimum of 75% of students will receive a grade of "C" or better based on content of the written essays.

Student will demonstrate appropriate professional manners applied the business world.

Student will

1.      convey an understanding of human relations methodologies.

2.      illustrate appropriate attire for the workplace.

3.      explain the importance of respect and rapport with colleagues.

4.      employ a sense of business ethics.
